I don't know your personal struggle, but if you tend to stay up later than you should, like I do, then getting extra sleep may help with those sorts of battles. It doesn't always work, or do away with them completely, but maybe that is a helpful perspective.
Thanks, always nice to hear of other perspectives. Unfortunately, I am not one of those that stay up late, I go to bed at a reasonable hour, but the sleep is never enough and then I spend the better part of my morning routine staying in bed, fighting the urge to close my eyes and go back to sleep.
