- Cheap

- Works great with retropie

- You can swap the gate for 4-way games

- Good Quality build

- Good Brand

Cons:

- Wired only ( but works fine with usb extension )

- Some mods would require soldering.

- Light in weight

8bitDo Arcade Stick [RD]

Pros:

- Works Great with retropie

- Supports Bluetooth, 2.4G And Wired.

- Premium Feel

- Good Quality build

- Good Brand

Cons:

- First 2 I ordered had issues with connection to pc

but once replaced by amazon the new controllers worked great and our my favourite

controllers.

PS4 Dualshok 4 V2 Controller [RD]

Pros:

- Works with every system on my build

- Bluetooth latency is great

- No dongle required

Cons:

- Not as good range as 2.4G

- Needs recharging often and does not go into standby while using on pi

- As with most modern analog controllers could suffer from analog stick drift.

Retro-Bit Legacy-16 [RD]

Pros:

- Great 2.4G range

- Good battery life

- DPAD & Buttons feel responsive

Cons:

- Does not work with PSP Emulator

- Analog sticks feel small ( But they work fine )

- The dongles are to thick I could only fit 2 with the argon case

- When the dongle is connected even with the controller off it can causes some issues with other types of controllers until you remove the dongle

8BitDo M30 Bluetooth Wireless Gamepad [RD]

- Feels nostalgic when playing megadrive games

- Good Build Quality

- DPAD & Controls responsive

- Good Battery life

- Bluetooth works really well

Cons:

- No analog sticks so won't work for all systems
