"A lifestyle beer"
This is a classic New England IPA from the hometown that popularized the style. The color is murky and there are lots of bits of junk floating around inside. The can describes this beer as "zesty, refreshing, and bright". I find myself agreeing with at least the zesty part. I never would have come up with that word by myself, but it's an apt description.
This beer took me a while to drink, and by the end there was a giant glob of residue at the bottom of my glass. Overall, the flavor is more bitter than I expected it to be. I'm not complaining because I *do* like this style of beer. But this wasn't my favorite and I was a bit disappointed by how average it felt.
Probably not. This one didn't bring anything new to the table and there are a ton of local NEIPAs to chose from.
Four or five cans.
