"Sour Ale with Rainbow Sherbet Flavors."
This is a bright and colorful sour ale from Prairie. The label actually refers to it as a "malt beverage". I'm assuming that's them subtly hinting that this doesn't technically qualify a beer. Beer or not, I'm glad that it was included.
They're not lying, it really does taste like rainbow sherbet. The flavor is more subdued and has the added sourness. The only non-artificial fruit that I can detect is pineapple. The rest is a mess of tropical flavors. It cools my mouth and stings my throat going down.
I've said before that I don't like sours. I've had a some pretty good ones in the past few weeks though. I think the low acidity is the key.
No.
