I've recently read the books "A Deepness in the Sky" and "A Fire Upon the Deep" by Vernor Vinge. They were both indcredible, beauitful books, rather lengthy, and impressively deep (ha).
There's nothing like a well-told tale. Every evening I would look forward to reading these books. They've kept me company throughout my tumble across the country in two different houses and an apartment. Vinge creates a world so rich and full of life it's hard to belive it's fiction. I can't recall the last time I put down a book for the last time and was so overwhelmed by its beauty. They were both really good, but Fire was incredible.
