I can't help thinking that it is not enough to not use googles, big web, big browsers and social media. I am still stuck with Android on my phone (what are my options? Apple? Gah.) I am still stuck with an enormous hunk of Linux with god-knows-what in it, and a f**king Intel chip with an array of integrated spying devices built in...
But, there is Kolibri OS:

Kolibri OS is a fork of Menuet OS. It is a 32-bit x86-based operating system written in assembly language. It is pretty minimal, and looks to be not entirely insane.
I am going to take a close look at it. Apparently there is some TLS support, and it would be very appropriate to get a Gemini browser on it, don't you think?
Is there anything else? I will take another look at OSDEV, but it's full of abandoned hobbyist projects.
