A partial halo Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) was first observed in the SOHO/LASCO-C2 field of view at 21:14 UTC on October 26. This CME was associated with a long-duration M1.4 flare, which peaked at 23:24 UTC on October 26 from the region near N20E88, along with a Type II radio burst. Based on the source location, no impact on the solar wind conditions near Earth is expected.
