I'm not someone who has hacks to share really. I've not even discovered a bug that could potentially have been misused, let alone a zero day exploit, or built a social engineering hack.
It's not a genre I've ever looked at! Thanks for the introduction, I'll see what I can find!
Get an adblocker for your browser (I use ublock origin on firefox and chrome).
Not really a hack I guess, but: Don't be afraid to press the buttons. Just press it and see what happens, you'll learn what buttons do what eventually. As a caveat to this, see if you can get important photos/documents whatever backed up offsite, so if you press a sequence of buttons that deletes everything, you don't lose things!
I'm so far removed on how I started off in computing, I'm not sure I can really recommend a good way of getting started, apart from just mucking about and having a crack!
I think that's the main hack, is to get the mindset that you can do whatever you need to with a general purpose computer, almost literally whatever you need.
I don't? If shit needs to get done, I just get it done. I suppose I'm privileged enough that I have enough time to get done the shit that needs to get done.
Nope. My brother in law knows Meow-Ludo Meow-Meow, so assuming we can travel to Sydney at some point, I might get to meet him!. I've not tried any unless my morning espresso counts? I'd kind of like to see how microdosing of LSD would go as an OCD and anxiety treatment, but I've not looked into it enough yet.
