Well, I typed out a 2kB rant about the horrible environment I work in, and realised I probably can't actually share those details. Suffice to say the non-communication between teams is causing a lot of uneccesary rework, frustration and client impact.
If anyone needs a Linux Infrastructure Engineer remote (GMT+10) or in Canberra or Hobart (Australia) let me know and I'll send you a CV :)
I am definitely getting the hang of building the #68keys.io boards, board number 4 is the first that has just worked straight away, all components the correct way round, and all parts of the MCU soldered in correctly! It is a lovely mindfulness exercise, but I think if I choose another design of keyboards to build, it will be a wave soldered SMT board for sure! It is a bit tedious that it takes me roughly an hour per board to get it up to a point where it functions correctly. That is not including keyswitches or LEDs and resistors.
Next lot I think might be a run of the Plain60-c:

Nicely compatible with a bunch of cases and keycap sets, SMT parts that seem to still be available. (must finish current project fist!)
