Water, Water!

And Finally, they drank! The drip irrigation system took more than a month to get fixed and when it did, boy was it a sight to see. Water dripping out slowly from tiny blue bobbins into the soil. I gave it a few weeks. It was like the whole landscape changed. The leaves were greener and the plants seemed to grow taller every single day. It became a joy to visit the farm, not a chore. There was petrichor in the air. It was a joy, really. I am trying to post these gemlogs as quickly as I can so I can move to the present because everyday I post about the past, another day in the present goes by. I don't like backlogs.

Water is truly a blessing and you realize that once you see a plant come to life. I have been talking with the friend who takes care of the orchard while I type buttons on my keyboard, and according to him I should not be investing in ANY form of fertilizer. We are going the old route of good ol' cow-dung. Lets hope it turns out fruitful. (geddit?) Anyway, nice talking to ya. From the next log I will be writing about daily events and not the past.

The mangoes shall ripen!
