There was one protestor this year. He really didn't think that sign through.
Jamestown Pride! It was a lot larger than last year.
Rib festival and late celebration of my sisters birthday! We went back a second time the next day. Day 1 for BBQ day 2 for funnel cake and other junk food XD

My hair is getting curly
I was having fun with the camera on the Poolsuite iPhone app.
Photo of some random flowers on my walk this morning. I was stressed so I wanted to get out of the apartment. I ended up walking 5 miles. But it is finally spring here after a very long winter so it's aggressive how many flowers there are.
I was in the hospital for 6 hours with a friend while he was getting checked out. This was a LONG day but the after hospital Panera Bread made it all worth it. I took some bored selfies while I was there.
Moving pictures to my capsule was making me feel nostalgic so I took a walk where I lived when I first moved up here. Still learning how to manage longer hair.
Death of a ray tube :'(

Asmo approves of my new side table.
These trees might be illegal in Florida. Taken at a local art and nature walk that one of the music schools puts on with the local Audubon.
My birthday present to myself. Put a new battery in it and it's working like a charm. I would have killed to have this PDA as a kid.
My older sister and I met up with my younger sister in a middle point between where we live. It was nice to see everyone. <3
Another birthday present to my self! This is one of the exact models I had in like middle school. Back when these were just starting to get old so you could find accessories at the 99¢ Only store still.

Christmas eve selfie in the beanie my sister made me forever ago. Still love it.
Felt like Panera. Wearing a beanie from a local coffee shop.

Asmo wearing a tiny stocking that came with a attached to a larger stocking.
Asmo will assimilate you. Resistance is futile.

Beautiful bathroom stall art at a local grocery store.
I made breadsticks for soup night. These are great dipped in ham and potato soup.
So this cat has been hanging around the apartment complex and decided to come in and won't leave. So I guess I have a cat now? I have been letting him out to make sure he does not have a home to go to. No collar. I will call him Asmoraius.
I upgraded an iPod mini with and SD to CF adapter.
Cat likes shrimp toy.
My friend's ferret is starting to make me want a ferret.
There is chaos in those eyes
Starting to like this cat.
I am Josh. Constructor of tiny shelf. Bear witness to my poor craftsmanship. Fear me.
My Mom's cat rummy has a friend. He looks a little stoned.
Had A nice day at the beach. Idk why this was the only photo I decided to post from it.
My Mom and stepdad's cat Rummy. He was very small for quite a while.

I have questions. Who is this man? Who put this here? Why?
Selfie back home in Texas! My older sister, her husband, and I all went back to my hometown for a week.

It was really good to see and catch up with my cousin while I was back home.

Socks and Otis being Socks and Otis.
Party skeleton is ready to party
So this is what an onion flower looks like.
This picture of an iMac running Windows Vista perfectly captures the feeling of meeting a really hot guy who happens to be straight. Right hardwre, wrong softwre.
First teardown if my Macintosh Classic II. Capacitors had leaked everywhere and it had to be cleaned pretty bad. Second photo is first boot after cleaning. Before cleaning it was just eanson noise on the screen. I think it needs to be re-caped though. Sound works but is incredibly quiet.
My friend's cat had kittens!
How does this happen? It was still good though. Now I want Taco Bell.
My sock.
She really did. 100% true facts.
My onion plant was just about to flower.
I was backing up the CD collection. This took forever. Glad we did it though. All the burnt CDs of school pop-shows and choir concerts were really staring to break down.
This onion plant is my son.

Is the sky gay?
Idk some dandelion.
The internet was right. He sits.
Lantern mantles. I really want a kerosene one but this white-gas/gasoline one is crazy bright.
Christmas candle light services. I think this is around the time I just started questioning my faith. However I still like these services to this day. Silent night at midnight is magic. Even if the words are a little fucked up if you think about them too much.
Creepy toys as a bakery nearby.
Some guy back home was building game cabinets and my step-dad bought one from him. This is a pic of the display on on of the screens.

Photos around Chautauqua Lake
This was the first winter up north. The amount of ice was still novel.
I found this little glass handle holder/chimney in the perpetual Christmas section at a local thrift store up here. It made the candle burn really bright and made the flame super steady. Wish I still had this thing but it broke. The principle of how it works is really simple. Maybe I could find or make another one.
We always had the man one when I was a kid! I didn't know there were three of them. These were from Avon I think.
Was getting some maintenance done on my car when I noticed their Christmas ornaments.
First photos after moving to New York! These were taken on a walk near the apartment Lauren and I moved into at the time after being here a couple days.

Socks being cute again. he was standing on the shelves built in the the closet.
Marble Slab! Sweet cream is my favorite. <3 I didn't know it was literally unflavored for a long time -_-

Selfie I took at my first Pride parade!
Milkshake from Katz's back home! They had such good food there.
I was cleaning and had my mattress against the wall to get under the bed. Socks decided that he sits.
More creepy antique store dolls.
Cloth. No idea where.
Paint. No idea where.
Close up photo of a placemat. I think may parents still use these at their house.
Photos of an old pressure lantern being used as decoration at a Bass Pro Shop. I get the atmosphere but it sucks that sometimes things I REALLY want are just hanging on a wall somewhere.
Based record I found in my trump-supporting fathers house. How some people fall. This was apparently from his college days.
Knives at my then-job
My parent's cat Paisley as a kitten. She was so cute and sweet! Too bad she grew up to be such a bitch.

Rusty Door in Sam Houston...probably. Just based on the date. I don't remember this.
Sam Houston park. This was a nice day.
Sam Houston Antique store stuff.
This was a weird record set I had. Part of me liked it. It's like a cross between Wii music and the Ghost and Mr. Chicken.
Racist rock makes me uncomfortable
Random texturie photos from an antique store.
Creepy antique store dolls from an antique place.
b r i g h t s o c k s

White flame lamp
Flame!
Dial on a radio I used to have. I miss that thing.
Socks sitting in a tipped over clothes hamper.
My love of Pop Tarts is not new.
Mittens being playful. He was in a good mood this day. He was normally an asshole. <3
Realistic fake hardwood my parents has put in a house they had a while back.
I really like the light that these vintage style light bulbs give off. Good thing modern LED bulbs get close to the look and light quality without the power consummation of these.
A hole developed in the light bulb and it made this pattern when the filament burned as air rushed in.
Mer looking like she's done.
Typewriter at an antique store back home. The keys were jammed so I fixed them. Kind of wish I got it but this thing was huge and very heavy.
Mer being silly! She was such a good girl.
This seemed like the correct way to cut a watermelon
An owl I drew in High School when I was bored in home room or whatever.

Photo of a polished fossil I took at one of the museums in Houston. I don't remember which one.
More photos from the easter block party we threw near our house. The Church I went to at the time *barf* was encouraging everyone to throw these. Despite my current feeling about religion, this was a fun day.
Round Top! This place is a fun place to visit if you are ever in the Houston-ish part of Texas. Royer's Cafe is fantastic! It's one of those places that is so busy that you will often end up being seated with strangers, which I always find fun. Plus the food! Then there is a nice little downtown area with all kinds of artsy shops and stuff. And my favorite, on the outer parts of town and on the way there are a bunch of absolutely massive antique shops. I need to go back here sometime soon. Too bad I'm poor.
Random pics I snapped at a Buc-ee's we stoped at on the way to Round Top TX.
Mer being cute! I think she was watching birds out of the back window of the house. My Mom and Stepdad had this house built back in Houston and that was taken shortly after we moved in. However, my sister and I moved up north not too long after this.
A zoomed in and rotated photo of Mer being silly that made her look a little crazy <3
A teeny tiny kerosene lantern at my favorite antique store back in my home town. I hope that place is doing okay. Still kind of regret not buying this lol
A huge light bulb I had. Idk why but I really liked how it looked.
I think this was the Brick on the ground in front of a Black-eyed Pea restaurant. I lived in Texas at the time. Shocker based on the photo, I know.
One of my mom's old microphones. We set it up one day to try to get it working. I didn't know about phantom power supplies at the time so I do not think I did so successfully.
Mittens! He was my dad's cat. He was an asshole but very cute.
Continuing with my interest in non-electric thingamajigs - oil lamps! These white flame lamps have a little chimneyish thing under the burner cone that makes the flame spread out and give off much more light than they otherwise would. They are kind of hard to find though. Only found two or three in person. Managed to grab this one in Round Top at a huge antique fair they do every year. Or at least did at the time.
Just a zoooooomed in photo of a light bulb my family put out for the autism awareness "light it up blue" campaign that year.
High pressure sodium lamp from a street light in front of the house I lived at. I just learned how these work and was really interested in them at the time. I was also having fun with some zoomie lenses I got for my camera at the time.
Photo of an easter egg from a block party we did. Idk why it is out of place from all the others. This was either when we were setting up or I just uploaded the others later.
One of my favorite pictures with my older sister <3 This was so long ago now. It feels weird.
Drawing of a percolator I did from a tutorial in an art book I believe.
More photos taken at that antique store. It was more of a huge barn filled with stuff and everything was on sale. They even had a cat! He was very sweet.
Ladybug that landed on my Mom during a visit to Round Top Texas. This was at an antique store on the outer parts of town if I recall correctly. It was one of those HUGE places that has all kinds of stuff. I love finding places like that.
Mer being cute again.
I used to be super into non-electric technology. Still am, a little. Too bad typewriters can't have spellcheck.
Lantern from the railroad my grandfather worked in. I put a light socket in it and turned it into a lamp.
Something I doodled while I was in Church. Jesus and I aren't on speaking terms anymore.
Mer being silly! I miss her.
Socks being cute.
Drawing of a lantern I made. This is the only post from December so I guess I was not using instagram much at the time.
Some photos I took in Cook Forest State park in PA. This was the first time I went there <3 and still love going there to this day.
Crab Puffs from Kenzo Sushi Bar back home! I used to love this place! According to the internet it has permanently closed though :(
I have NO IDEA why I took this photo of a cookie (cracker?). Taking photos of your food and uploading it to instagram is just what you did back then. I think it was lemon flavored. Idk if that is a real memory though.
I think this photo was also taken in my then front yard but it was too long ago to know for sure.
If I recall correctly this is a photo of some plants in front of the entryway of the house I lived in back then.
A photo of books being used as decoration at a La Madeleine restaurant. IDK why I took this, maybe to send to my sister because she was learning french at the time.
