<TRAMMIE> how's this.... we do baha'i for the regulars and bahai for new ppl (;
<MoToR> it might be confusing to seekers
<TRAMMIE> (:
<MoToR> we want to covey the idea of unity
<TRAMMIE> well....
<MoToR> hmmm...
<TRAMMIE> sometimes i like old ppl sometimes ifeel like new ppl.... hmm...
<TRAMMIE> hmm... there has to be a way to fix this...
<MoToR> that might work but i think we should keep one channel
<MoToR> we can make another channel for regulars
<TRAMMIE> oh yeah... there should be one for bahai iagreee for sometimes...
<TRAMMIE> (:
<JustinHst> Trammie: I'm just wondering, I see you hear a lot (and that's great). Where do you consider yourself in relation to the Baha'i Faith?
<TRAMMIE> hmm...
<MoToR> we should name it siimething else
<TRAMMIE> motor : like what?
<JustinHst> Purhaps in the future, when more people come to the Baha'i channels, we can divide them up between specific topics.
<TRAMMIE> hear or here (;
<JustinHst> here. :-)
<MoToR> i don't know think of something
<TRAMMIE> oh cheech...
<TRAMMIE> ahhh.....

<TRAMMIE> justin: what do you think yourself in relation to Christianisty or muslims?
<TRAMMIE> justin : that's an odd question i think
<JustinHst> I think that I am a member of the Eternal Faith of God and therefore I am deeply in love with all of those religions, however I consider myself primarily a Baha'i.

<JustinHst> Well, I just mean do you think you want to declare, or how close to you to the Faith?
<JustinHst> I don't mean for it to sound odd or imposing.
<TRAMMIE> me 2 therefore I am deeply in love with all of those religions,
<TRAMMIE> no not really.. i think it's agood idea ... that's all... but.. i don't c it complete yet...
<TRAMMIE> not right for me (: want more information?
<TRAMMIE> or does that suffice?
<TRAMMIE> motor : so what name hmm....
<TRAMMIE> how's temple?
<TRAMMIE> or unity?
<TRAMMIE> why can't we just keep two channels?... i like that idea...
<TRAMMIE> i don't find anything wrong w/ that...
<TRAMMIE> lag lag lag lag..

<MoToR> hi edward
<JustinHst> TRammie: But you are not "official" a Baha'i, correct?
<Edward> MoToR, hello. and hello to all.... Ho! Ho! Ho!
<JustinHst> officially.
<MoToR> trammie: how about "dawnbreaker" or something?
<JustinHst> Hi Edward.
<Edward> J.H.: Yo.
<JustinHst> Trammie: ok, Thanks for the info. I was just wondering.
<Edward> O O
<JustinHst> TRammie: I'm not getting your messages with my Hst user, just my Log user.
<Edward> O o

<Edward> O o
<Edward> .
<Edward> _____
<JustinHst> Edward: Are you a Baha'i?
<Edward> There is either too much lag or nobody has anything to say.
<JustinHst> A little of both I think.
<Edward> I'm a Baha'i.
<JustinHst> Ok, great. Are you on the BIRCF mailing list?
<Edward> I am not on that list, do I want to be?
<JustinHst> BIRCF=Baha'i IRC Fireside. It is a discussion list about online firesides.
<JustinHst> the BIRCF project sponsors Monday night firesides here.
<Edward> I figured that much.....
<Edward> irc eats up alot of my internet access points
<JustinHst> If you want more information on online fireside, I guess you'd want to be on it. If you don't then you don't. :-)
<Edward> I don't then. I use irc only sparingly......
<JustinHst> Oh, ok. That's fine. How big is the Baha'i Community where you live?
<Edward> the figure quoted is 500 in the Montreal area
<Edward> trammie was chased away by the lag
<JustinHst> Wow, that's pretty good. We have about 150 in the Charlotte, North Carolina, USA area.

<malcom> yo d00dz
<Edward> hello Malcolm
<JustinHst> You have a center there for sure then?
<JustinHst> Yeah.
<JustinHst> Hello Malcom.
<Edward> Pong time for Justin log: 428 seconds!!!
<malcom> ?
<malcom> anyone here?
<malcom> 'sup?
<JustinHst> Edward: Yeah it's bad.
<Edward> I'm here man!
<MoToR> hello malcom
<malcom> are u guys Baha'is?

<malcom> anyone here check out BWC-DOM?
<Edward> I thought that this would not work out as a fireside....
<MoToR> what is that
<JustinHst> Edward: Neat. I just visited Ashville, NC (a city not to far from CHarlotte) and they just got a nice 3 story center with almost 5,000 square feet of office space they rent.
<Edward> BWC-DOM?
<malcom> it's the collection of computer networks in Haifa..
<JustinHst> Malcom: Yes.
<malcom> Baha'i computer networks
<MoToR> where in alaska are you from
<malcom> Palmer..
<MoToR> ok...
<MoToR> where is that
<Edward> how does one check out BWC-DOM?
<JustinHst> Malcom: I hear that a lot of good teaching efforts are happening in Alaska, what kinds of things are happening there?
<JustinHst> Edward: FTP, telnet, etc I guess.
<malcom> oh, not much. we just had a statewide youth council, focusing on teaching projects in local areas..
<MoToR> i gotta go guys i might be back

<malcom> i don't know if you can reach bwc.bwc.org from where you are.. i know i can't reach it from alaska.. sigh.
<Edward> i gotta go to
<malcom> :)

<JustinHst> Allah'u'Abha and good bye Edward.

<malcom> :)
<JustinHst> Are you a youth
<JustinHst> ?
<JustinHst> :-)
<JustinHst> Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
<malcom> cool
<JustinHst> I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
<malcom> yea.. i'm a youth (excuse my delays.. testing security)
<malcom> oh really? i met a youth from Kalamazoo at the world congress
<JustinHst> No problem. I'm 16. I'm in the Charlotte Baha'i Youth Workshop, are you in a Workshop.
<malcom> no..
<JustinHst> Is there one in Alaska?
<malcom> i don't think so..
<malcom> a few of my friends are in the LA workshop, tho
<JustinHst> Neat. LA Workshop is really special.
<JustinHst> 1994 is there 20th aniversary.
<malcom> dancing/acting/etc. isn't something i can do..
<malcom> yea.
<JustinHst> Me either. But, with the help of Baha'u'llah I do it anyway! IT's really quite neat to be helped in such a way.
<malcom> yea
<JustinHst> When you really pray and try to do a performance well God helps and you really you have nothing to worry about if you are sincere.
<malcom> i don't want to have any negative impact on the community.. even if i was sincere in my efforts i'd most likely cause problems
<JustinHst> I really don't think you would, but I don't know your situation.
-Rodder:$irc-2.mit.edu- NOTICE FROM IRC-2.MIT.EDU: this server is full, please use another if you can.
