2 ‎[1] IT IS THAT WHICH GOETH UP. The burnt offering is called an *olah* because it is entirely consumed (*olah*) on the altar. Scripture here hints that the *olah* should not be offered at night but rather that it shall be on its firewood until the morning. The *heh* of *mokedah* (its firewood) is superfluous. On the other hand, *moked* and *mokedah* may be two nouns.
‎[2] AND THE FIRE OF THE ALTAR SHALL BE KEPT BURNING THEREBY. Not outside.
