Ibn Ezra on Leviticus 16:24

Home

Torah

24 ‎[1] IN A HOLY PLACE. In the courtyard of the tent of meeting. They used to spread a sheet for the *kohen*.

‎[2] HIS OTHER VESTMENTS. With which he serves every day. There are those who say that the reference is to the garments mentioned. The fact that Scripture does not say *and put on other garments* (Lev. 6:4) is proof of this.

‎[3] HIS BURNT-OFFERING. The reference is to the ram and the ram of the people, the bullock of the people, and the seven lambs, for it is so written in Scripture.
