Torah

11 โ€Ž[1] 'ื•ืขืœ ื›ืœ ื ืคืฉืช ืžืช ื•ื’ื•โ€Žโ€Ž means, he shall not go into a tent wherein is a corpse.

โ€Ž[2] ื ืคืฉืช ืžืช โ€” The word ื ืคืฉืช, which appears redundant, is intended to include a quarter of a log of the blood of a corpse โ€” to intimate that even this, as a corpse itself, makes men and vessels unclean through being in a "tentโ€ in which it happens to be (Sanhedrin 4a).

โ€Ž[3] ืœืื‘ื™ื• ื•ืœืืžื• ืœื ื™ื˜ืžื NOR SHALL HE DEFILE HIMSELF FOR HIS FATHER OR FOR HIS MOTHER โ€” By these words which appear redundant, since ืื‘ื™ื• ื•ืืžื• are included in ื›ืœ ื ืคืฉืช ืžืช, Scripture has no other intention than to permit him to defile himself for a ืžืช ืžืฆื•ื” (cf. v. 1) (Sifra, Emor, Section 2 4; Nazir 47b).
