Military Labors

AL-97 Atlas

Specifications

Notes

The first military Labor seen in Patlabor, specifically in episode 5 of the Original OVA Series (aka Early Days). It seems to be on the earliest, if not the first, developed military Labors. It is used by the Japanese Self Defence Force. The 20mm Gatling gun the Labor uses was originally developed for NATO gunships.

Type 7B/2B Brocken

Specifications

Notes

A military Labor originally designed for the West German military. The SV2 clash with Labor infrequently, mostly due to Schaft's experimentation with test Labors and their desire to compile data by battling with the SV2.

Type 5Q/2C Grau Bear

Specifications

Notes

Another military Labor developed by Schaft. Like the Brocken, the SV2 deals with this Labor the most when Schaft's experiential test Labors are lurking about.

ARL-99B Helldiver

Specifications

Notes

Devised as a Labor version of a paratrooper, this Labor is a much more slimmed down and manoeuvrable Labor than the AL-97 Atlas. We first see theis Labor in the first movie, battling the HAL X-10. Captain Fuwa pilots one of these Labors.

XR-99 Doshka

Specifications

Notes

Odd looking Russian Military Labor seen in the TV episode "Red Labor Landing".

AL-97B Samson

Specifications

Notes

This Labor is a refinement of the AL-97 Atlas and is only seen in the latter Phantom Labor episodes.

Type 6Q/2C Chimaera

Specifications

Notes

Another military type Labor developed by Schaft. Seen the TV episodes "Dark Troubles Rising" and "The Phantom Returns".

Type M-5 Abraham

Specifications

Notes

Yet another military type Labor from Schaft, this time from their US division. In the TV series, the Labor is used by Three-S, Schaft Security Systems, who are ordered to go after Bud, Utsumi and the Griffin Labor.

AL-97B Hannibal

Specifications

Notes

This Labor seems to be a further development of the AL-97B Samson. It is used by both the Japanese Self Defence Force and the United Nations in "Patlabor 2 the movie".

Type 98 RADHA Multiple Combat Command Labor

Specifications

Notes

Not a great deal of information is available for this Labor. I'm not even sure I've got the name right. It appears in the opening scenes of "Patlabor 2 the movie" and is piloted by Yukihito Tsuge. It may be the final version of the experimental HAL X-10.
