Inselkampf

This isn't *quite* retrograming, but I suppose it counts now. Plus there's not an s/gaming yet, so... anyone ever play Inselkampf back in the day ? It launched around 2006. It was mostly a text-based game, with a few 16-color-ish glyphs, maps, etc. I definitely played this for a couple of years. It was a very slow-moving game. You'd send some warships, then come back in a couple of days to see how it went. Things escalated once people really built up their islands after a year or so. There were alliances, who would make their own 3rd party forums. It was a fun little game.

Someone needs to make a Gemini clone haha

Sounds like you just nominated yourself to port it! 😄

Looks fun. Unfortunate name though

@Ruby_Witch Hahaha I haven't programmed a thing since 2006 - and that was in VB.NET. Would be a fun project, though!

@Addison It was originally a German game, and it literally just means "Island Fight" or "Island Struggle".
