Home

Torah

5 ‎[1] THAT WHICH GROWETH OF ITSELF. It is known that the word *safi’ach* (that which groweth of itself) is connected to the word *sefacheni* (put me) in *Put me, I pray thee* (I Sam. 3:36). It is also known that the word *nezirekha* (undressed vine) is related to the word *nazir* (nazirite).

‎[2] A YEAR OF SOLEMN REST. Its meaning is, because it is a year of solemn rest for the land; that is, the land is not in your possession in this year.
