17 ‎[1] THEY ARE NEAR KINSWOMEN. *She’er* (kin) and *sha’arah* (kinswomen) are two nouns. If the *alef* of *sha’arah* were not a guttural, it would be quiescent like the *lamed* of *salmah* (raiment) (Ex. 22:8).
