Sounds amazing... Hokkaido in December must be pretty magical!

I'm going to spend time with my dad and his wife's family for Christmas, but planning a trip to Japan in the spring. Maybe for a decent length of time (4-12 weeks, I haven't decided yet).

I know the paradox of that stagnant, chaotic feeling... Hope you do, indeed, get it figured out. (Do we ever truly figure it out?) Good luck in any case...

I actually went during spring and I highly recommend it. It was actually more humid than I expected even in March so I recommend light materials and extra underwear and/or wipes to keep cool. If you spend a lot of time there, I’m sure you’ll find tons to do all around Japan.

Hmm I’m not sure if we’ll figure out this paradox. Hopefully things improve nonetheless.
