Lately I've been finding myself wanting to re-connect with people from my past. What are some good ways to do this without Facebook? I am tempted to re-join that corporate monster for this purpose alone.

@softwarepagan so what do you have, then? their first and last names? what about name changes, e.g. based on marriage? usually friendships form networks, so you ask one to reach out to the other one to ask for their email (as entry point). if you indeed lost everyone from a circle of friends and have to start from scratch then facebook or linkedin would be necessary, if you can’t google their email. the hard part is deleting the account afterwards. they play dirty to make you stay. · 1 month ago
