Is there anyone who does archery? I tried it a few times about 2 years ago, but stopped due to lack of time. I really like archery, especially traditional / intuitive archery. There is an outdoor archery venue where fire bowls are set up in the evening so you can still shoot at dusk. Looking foreward to buy my one bow. Any recommendations to start with?

Whichever type you'll decide you want, buy something lighter than heavier. It's important that you can train correct posture. Don't know your sex but especially men tend to buy too strong bows cause you know "I'm strong, I won't shoot women's bow!" ;) · 2 years ago

If I were you, I'd have a look at Grozer Archery, I really like the style of his bows: https://www.grozerarchery.com/index_m.htm

A lot of people here in Denmark at least are very fascinated by the English longbow for that kind of archery, and I have a friend who competes and occasionally wins archery championships with a longbow, and have been shooting a bit with him.

But personally I find the recurve/compound style bows of Grozer extremely attractive, especially compared to a longbow. · 2 years ago
