doas is so much worse than sudo

doas is so much worse than sudo

really? I was just planning to migrate from sudo - to doas...

If you have more details why doas is worse, I would appreciate?

I get the impression this is a joke, @coderwx.

Do correct me if I'm wrong though, OP.

yea just a joke

🖥️ zetamacs · Dec 21 at 21:00:

Yeah, totally! All the extra security holes with sudo mean its users are always more careful than those doas try-hards. Being careful is what security is all about!

Pssssssh.

If less lines of code means more secure, isn't it better to just log in as root then?

Some apps are hardcoded to use sudo, do you need to have it eather way...

Ah, I am glad this is a joke :) Silly me, I did not catch it, I should know better as it is in shitposts area :) Thanks, zetamacs, bumpsh

You can symlink doas to sudo for those pesky scripts that hardcode it. Most of them just use it as a way to run something as root, so it should just work.

@coderwx , yea no problem it happens to the best.
