@Ruby_Witch: yeah, he is mostly philosphizing and ranting, and doesn't really have the depth to pull it off. I hate to come off as elitist -- I am a high-school dropout myself, but I don't get a sense that Rossman reads a lot, if you know what I mean.
He reminds me of the dog character on BoJack Horseman. He is very functional, but when a squirrel runs by, he is still a dog.
But even if I can't sit through an entire video most of the time, it is still a guilty plesure of mine.

He's done a lot of good work fighting for the Right to Repair, and his ongoing fight with New York City bureaucracy (even years after he moved to Texas or Florida) is truly amusing (and familiar). And no doubt he is technically very knowlegeable and, usually, good at diagnosing and fixing electronics. He has been very good at disseminating information about Mac repair, something that Apple clearly does not want. But he is...
