This is a gemlog for the SpellBinding puzzle, in which you construct words using the specified letters (each word must contain the anchor letter).
ANATTA ANNATTO ANON AUNT GANG GAUNT GNAT GONG GOON GUANO HANG HANGOUT HANGTAG HAUNT HOGNUT HUNG HUNT NAAN NAGA NANA NATANT NAUGHT NONAGON NOON NOUGAT NOUGHT NOUN NUTANT ONTO OUTGUN OUTHUNT TANG TANGO TAUNT THAN THONG TONG TUNA TUNG UNHAT UNHUNG UNTAUGHT UNTHOUGHT UNTO UNTOOTH
So many words, so little time.
ANATTA: a basic Buddhist doctrine affirming the nonexistence of a soul. I agree so much.
ANNATTO: a yellowish-red dyestuff
ANON: 1:Soon, presently 2:After a while, later: 3:(archaic) At once, immediately. Makes zero sense to me - is it later or immediately? Even presently is confusing as it means either right now or before long. I always think of Bluebeard say "Madam, I shall murder you, and that, presently."
HANGTAG - just a tag on merchandise.
HOGNUT: a tuber known as earthnut or pignut or jamaica cobnut.
NAGA: a member of a race of spirits recognized in Hinduism and Buddhism that have mingled superhuman and serpent qualities, are genii of waters and rain, and live in a subaqueous kingdom. Prime movie material.
NATANT: swimming in water; NUTANT drooping (as in with fruit). I've seen these a few times but still get confused.
I always like considering of UNTHOUGHT ideas. Think about it.
Another day.
