I also want to write more, but I am not sure that anything I have to say is worth writing for the public.
I used to feel the same, especially about my fiction, but eventually I got angry enough at myself and the fear I felt that I learned to say four magic words:
THE PUBLIC BE DAMNED
People will do as they please. They will either read what you write or not. They will either like what you read or not. None of that is within your control, so it's not your problem.
Your problem is you. The only questions you should be asking yourself are these:
1. What do you want?
2. What will you do to get what you want?
Do you want to write? Then write. If you want to put it online, then do it. Don't worry about the readers. They don't matter nearly as much as some of them think they do.
Thank you, I'll take your advice to heart.
