Been a while since I updated the ol’ Gemini capsule. I just haven’t really had a lot to say, I guess.
I’ve really come to love using Obsidian for writing and organizing. I tried to be a purist before; use text editors for everything! No bloated Electron apps! But Obsidian is *good* and I am *tired all the time* and I just want to do stuff in a way that isn’t exhausting.
Turns out it’s also super easy to maintain a Gemini capsule as an Obsidian vault. All I need is the Edit Gemini community plugin, plus a couple others for my own use case (Git and Smart Typography), and it becomes super easy, barely an inconvenience.
I also wound up sticking a bunch of stuff from this capsule into an “archive” page of sorts because I just kind of lost interest in it. Maybe I’ll come back to it some day. It’s all still available, just not directly linked from the front page anymore.
