While there, I added a few others besides the main group. The intended use of which is as described below.
INN2 is an InterNetNews (INN) newsgroup server to host "local" or "private" newsgroups. This means groups that are hosted locally and aren't part of Usenet. This is useful, for example, if you want to set up a private on-line community, or private discussion boards at a business.

For the time being, I co-host the site on HTTP and HTTPS but be aware that this is expected to chenge in future.
For the news server, (NNTP) use the following settings:
server: dfdn.info
port: 119
On first connection, use the option to get the list of groups (for Gravity) use newsgroup > get new groups. Subscribe to those desired.
There will be a 'get new articles' option or similar to update the list. When posting, select the article you wish to reply to; or use 'new post' or similar for a new article.
Please use polite language and be considerate. In the testing period, no authentication is needed but this may change in future if abuse takes place. Please don't force me to do this!
Please try to use the groups appropriately - the group name indicates what is relevant to that group! Avoid profanity (remember the posts may be read by ladies, children or maybe an English gentleman!).
You may use attatchments but please only use sensible file sizes and file types.
Remember, this is the group for the campaign, for example.

I believe in using standard port numbers unless there are good technical and other grounds to do otherwise.
And a final reminder: Please treat the facilities in a fashion which an English gentleman would approve of! Remember, all IP addresses are logged.
