I'm using gemini for few weeks but I'm already wondering which is the client to

browser gemini? I'm not sure on gemini we call it a browser?

At the moment I'm switching mostly between two different browser:

Initially I'm not a terminal evangelist but something tells me Gemini works

better on terminal than a graphical client. I really like how pages displayes in

Amfora: it's more readable. But I'm having trouble with capsule which used

certificate authentification. It works on both Lagrange and Amfora but the user

experience in Amfora is really weird for this part. It requires to manually

configure keys/certs in the config file for each capsule. And when a capsule is

not setup no help is provided. No identity generation for this website nor a

selector to choose which identity to use. So instead of leaving amfora to setup

the new website I browse elsewhere.

On Lagrange this is the total opposite. Identity could be generated or you can

select an existing one. But I really don't like how content is displayed and

design makes me using mouse a lot. I think I could setup better display by

playing with fonts and size.

Recently [1] I played with feeds in Amfora and Lagrange because mine was not

working and discover that Lagrange supports gemini feeds based on a text/gemini

file but not Amfora. Atom feeds were working correctly (when no missing link) on

both Lagrange and Amfora.

I've a preference for Amfora at the moment but identity managment is really a

pain. So time to time I switch back to Lagrange and don't really if I'll really

switch on it...

EDIT: I forgot to mentioned that Langrage suits better for content which

contains media files. It works nice in Amfora too but for sound files for

example it downloads the entire file before to start playing it which seems not

to be the same on Lagrange.
