I'd say this is the best one yet, but that isn't saying much. Still, the near divorce goes the furthest yet, with Blondie nearly hiring a lawyer. You'd think it would be about money, but it's actually about Dagwood's "old friend" (played by Rita Hayworth) who, when she first shows up, immediately starts, uh... flirting with the neighbor kid Alvin, for some reason...?? Then we get some kind of pseudo Gift of the Magi situation, and the revelation that Dagwood's fishing buddy can imitate anyone flawlessly.

Also, Daisy gets drunk. This is a weird one.
