Just as i'm writing a little german article about permacomputing and my 50c about it, ClockworkPi announced their newest handheld "console". This is/looks like the ideal handheld computer for me. And so i need to rethink some parts of this writing ;D
My inner child still hasn't chosen if it likes a Pison Series 5 like computer or something like the Zaurus SL-5500/6000 more. But in terms of off-grid or "apocalyptic scenario"-style computer the uConsole is just fine: a handheld/thumbtyping device with USB-A (...) with standard batteries, has a robust enclosure, is modular/repairable and affordable.
I already preordered it and will write a review once it arrives.
