A Pantoum 📜✍️

I found Zoe who's doing haiku-a-day

...and bad-gateway who has limericks in their gemlog

...but I always like pantoums because they're peculiar.

So I wrote this pantoum. Status: first draft.

The Gemini protocol recalls simple times
Without opportunity for commercial transaction
We just write our gemlogs (in prose or in rhymes)
Ease of implementation is developers' attraction

The quality of content comes right to the fore

With a flowering of clients and servers galore

When we don't have to have to deal with the bloat on the net

Mean we do what we want, and we like what we get

I think that poetry can be a write-only medium (like code in APL, Perl, regex, etc). I can cope with a few lines, but it's hard to pay attention if it goes on a bit. So well done if you got all the way through.
