I wanted to add my feed to an aggregator to get found and networked. Instead, I'm surprised I can't easily find the plain, basic aggregator service I expected
Now that I think about it there's good reasons they each to do less than checking on all feeds, all the time.
Conclusion: I'm going on Antenna, once I figure out how. Or I would just have to get social and reply to people for anyone to know I exist over here.
I have lots to say. I have nothing to say where I don't think twice and the risks I can imagine (from disagreeing "politically", to finding out what my job is and where I live, to being bored) don't outweigh any potential benefits. This is why I never made it as any kind of author. I am having some trouble with existing as a person, if communication is essential.
I was born with anxiety and RSD, and that's before youth gender clinics tried to convince me to not exist for a few years, and nobody had anything to say about it except to defer to the experts. It's hard to say anything of importance that does not have "I exist" as a premise in there somewhere, which I feel is a weak point that people can easily object to.
Anyone remember OttoMatic? This little game used to come pre-installed on macs. We also had it on school computer labs.
I mention this because I've had a "scary" dream in which the OttoMatic level 1 soundtrack and sound effects - approaching tractor beam - played clearly. The obstacle course and costume party with little UFO tractor beams to dodge was just a game, but I was disturbed to read in a book that supopsedly some people's brains have been permanetly rearranged by touching a real attempted-UFO-kidnapping tractor beam.
Anyway, I recently found out that some kind person has made Bugdom, OttoMatic, NanoSaur, etc available now
Easy to install and run. Enjoy, if anyone has exactly the same nostalgia.
Rattisbon Anno Domini mense decembri mclv Cronicle of Baudolino of the family of Aulario
I Baudolino son of Gagliaudo of the Aulari with a head that looks like a lion halleluia gratias to the Allmighty may he forgive me
ego habeo facto the greatest stealing of my life, I mean from the cabinet of the Bishop Oto I have stollen many pages that may belong to the Immperial Chancellor and I have scraped clean almost all of them excepting where the writing would not come off et now I have much parchmint to write down whatever I want which is my own story even if I don't know how to write Latin
[...] Jesu writing is hard work all my fingers ake allready
Here I transcribe the first few lines of Baudolino by Umberto Eco, because
Although if I was to influence what people pick up to read next, here's my personal ranking of popular Umberto Eco novels
1. The Name of The Rose, start here
2. The Island of the Day Before
3. Baudolino
4. Foucault's Pendulum, not that good by comparison
5. (Prague Cemetery, haven't read yet, not that interested)
