I use Kiwix. It's a thing that lets you access information while offline.
It's pretty great. It also means I can download the entirety of Wikipedia (100 GB) and StackOverflow (75 GB) and have it on my phone.
Also, you need a lot of storage. And by a lot, I mean, ***a lot*** of storage.
My phone is the Fairphone 4. It has a maximum of 256 GB of storage. That's not a lot of storage, considering I also store encrypted backups of my server taking up about 80 GB and some other big stuff.
So 256 GB is not enough. Now what?
Fun fact: The Fairphone 4 has a Micro SD card slot. It supports Micro SDXC (SD
3.0 apparently, See <https://shop.fairphone.com/fairphone-4> and specifically the "Specifications" section).
With a Micro SD card that has 256 GB of storage (Micro SDXC supports up to 2TB FYI), I was able to fit Wikipedia and StackOverflow on there.
I inserted the Micro SD card, formatted the card as external (important!), then setup Kiwix, then downloaded the stuff.
Of course, you can download beforehand all the stuff. That assumes you can even put a Micro SD card in your computer, and also very important in this case, your phone.
