Running TurkeyShootGS from an 800K floppy

Getting TurkeyShoot GS to boot and run from a single 800K floppy
guidelines. [If you have a HD and/or more ram, you may just want to
skip these] For info on where to get GS/OS System 5.0.4, how to
download, etc, please see my comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Asked
   Questions (FAQ) at http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html
   section 5.* and 9.*.

This guide will produce a 3.5" disk good for pretty much only booting
and autorunning TurkeyShootGS. Thus, double-check that you're making a
COPY of the Apple-supplied Syetem 5.0.4 disk. Also, this setup has
been tested on a ROM 3 GS without any RAM cards; GS ROM 01 with 1MB
(vs 1.125 in stock ROM 3) should also work.

    1. Make a COPY of the stock GS System 5.0.4 System.Disk, call the
disk something like 'Turkey.Disk' [Name is unimportant]
    2. From the root directory of Turkey.Disk, delete the 'Appletalk'
folder, the 'Basic.Launcher' and the 'Basic.System' files.
    3. Open the 'ICONS' folder on Turkey.Disk, delete the Finder.Icons.X
       and FType.Aux.
    4. Open the 'SYSTEM' folder and delet the 'Start' and 'P8' file, and
       the 'CDEVS' folder.
    5. In 'SYSTEM/FONTS', delete everything.
    6. In 'SYSTEM/DRIVERS', delete 'AppleDisk5.25', 'Imagewriter',
'Modem', 'Printer' and 'Printer.Setup'. [I.e. leave only the
       'Appledisk3.5', 'SCSI.Manager', 'SCSIHD.Driver' and
       'Console.Driver' files]
    7. In 'SYSTEM/SYSTEM.SETUP', delete the 'CDev.Init' file.
    8. In 'SYSTEM/DESK.ACCS', delete 'CtlPanel.NDA'
    9. In 'SYSTEM/TOOLS', delete everything.

You should now have roughly 553K free on the disk; at least 455K is
   required to copy Turkeyshoot.

    1. Copy 'Turkey.SYS16' and 'Turkeyshot.Docs' to the root directory of
Turkey.Disk; should have roughly 96K free.
    2. All done. Boot the disk to test it all out! [Quitting the game
will merely relaunch Turkeyshoot; you'll have to reboot to switch
       to another app]
