New IIgs Fonts - Vol.2
Number of fonts in archive: 42
Status: Freeware
Author: Charles T. 'Dr. Tom' Turley
Archived with: ShrinkIt GS v1.1 on my Apple IIgs
(For the benefit of Mushroom, not with Shrink II. So, you don't need Balloon)

The list below are the titles for the IIgs fonts in Vol. 2, which I constructed,
converted, edited and bitmap created back in 1993, for use with Fontrix IIgs
only, having nothing better to do during that year. They were all done using the
following IIgs programs; Pointless, Fontasm, Font Factory, Font Edit and Font
Converter. I'm releasing them as freeware in the hope that somebody might find
some useful value for them. They have all been tested and were all used with
Fontrix IIgs - when I created them in 1993. However, I can't assure you which (if
any of them) will work properly (if at all) as IIgs fonts within the font folder
of GS/OS v6.0.1. I didn't create them for that purpose at all.

You can try them with it and see what happens. I didn't make them for use with
GS/OS anyway. I made them for use with Fontrix IIgs. I'll state again to make it
perfectly clear - they are for use with Fontrix IIgs only because the family,
size, etc. numbers do not conform to the GS/OS standards. The number behind each
font name designates it's size when loaded and used with Fontrix IIgs. The number
isn't neccessary. It's just there for reference of size - when using it with
Fontrix IIgs.

If any of them don't load properly with Fontrix IIgs, then they have become
dammaged with time. Try to repair any such fonts in the collection if you
wish or simply delete them. That entirely up to you.

You'll find them to be of useful, creative and entertaining value with Fontrix
IIgs. If you try to use them as normal IIgs fonts within the font folder of
GS/OS v6.0.1 or an earlier version - you will find them to be virtually useless.
Cheers & Enjoy,
