You can probably replace it. That’s what I had to do. I got a supported WiFi adapter for $15 on eBay and just swapped them inside the laptop.

I've got it in a VM, but it seems it can't do any sort of display scaling, so it's impossible for me to use when it's all so tiny on my display, and I have a feeling booting directly into it will have the same issue. It's a shame, I've always been interested in BeOS and HaikuOS, but this is a major roadblock for me. High density display combined with aging eyesight :)

Fun little OS. I run it on bare metal from time to time. Amazingly everything works well. I was a big fan of BeOS back in the day so it's just like old times!
I have installed Haiku on a HP630 thin client, connected to an ethernet wire, without a problem. Surprisingly, I found out that it is not possible to display a desktop rotated 90 degrees. Unfortunately, this is exactly how I intended to use it as there is just this portrait mode space left next to my main monitor. Oh well.
Any HaikuOs Users here?
