Can a gemini response redirect to another protocol?

The spec just mentions that <META> is "a new URL", so technically any URL is fine, but I wonder if we all understand the same thing.

Yes, a different URL scheme is allowed in a redirect. Some clients (like Lagrange) will warn about the protocol switch, or they may not support the other protocol at all.
