Hi, I'm sorry you had to go through this. I recently had a hellish experience. Between loosing funding for my startup, then two close relative and finally my job I completly understand your struggle. I'm still re-building my life and it sucks sometimes.

I was thinking about something regarding mail, especially the spam problem. I wonder if we should add by default a proof of work requirement similar to what the Tor browser did. It's disabled by default but can be dynamically or automatically activated thus serving as a deterant more than anything else.

Many permissionless / decentralized system have to deal with spam and it would be intersting to see this deployed natively in the protocol.
