Just finished writing a basic gempub viewer called "gemv" (how original ...). It's written in Python with Kivy. It can read gempub or epub ebooks (they are converted on-the-fly). An AppImage is available here:

@arkaeriit Yes, exactly. The gempub project's repo describes it as: "A new eBook format based on Gemini Protocol's Gemtext. Gempub can also serve as a Gemini capsule archive format."
