Wherever the money is, efforts will follow. So long as it's more profitable to make entertaining content rather than true or useful content, we'll find ourselves drowning in entertainment. The (so far) total lack of a profit motive is one of the things I like about Gemini. · 2 years ago

For instance once I had the blade of the mixer stuck, I watched thousand of video with the "solution" none of them were useful... Eventually only the ancient power of the most gross "bestemmia" was able to make the miracle!
When content becomes entertainment the step of making likely or plausibile video is extremely high. Yesterday my son was fascinating about a tv shows where a squad of carpenteers rebuild your house in twelve hours, he asked why can't we do the same for our apartment, he was difficult making him understand that it was all fake, only for the sake of the entairtainment... · 2 years ago
