A night falls. I go in to town to see the protest, grab a coffee. Earlier in the day news came of a stabbing, knife attacks. This is what I witness - a crowd of Irish run down the street, some on e-scooters, past the general post office, down towards the Liffey. Down there is an abandoned cop car and a double decker. They trash the car, put garbage inside and set it on fire. "Get the kids back!" someone says - there are families. Since the lockdown and the checkpoints goodwill towards the police has all been lost by this crowd. Probably unjabbed, immune to indoctrination. Red pilled. Not on board with rainbow flags or with the current thing. The airbags are detonating. "Try flying those flags here." Anti-globalist rhetoric abounds. Chattering classes will have something to say about this. But for now, no police or firefighters around. I cycle home. Later the bus would be set on fire. / / /
