========================
I stumbled across a couple of interesting projects recently. The first, tootik, is a fediverse service a la akkoma or similar, but rather more minimal and with a gemini front-end. At some point I'd like to try deploying my own instance somewhere, but not until I learn golang properly (since that's what it's written in.) It's supposed to be "easy to hack on," according to the readme. Time will tell, I suppose.
The second project is zellij, which is a pretty slick terminal multiplexer/workspace. So far it feels like tmux with a coat of ohmyzsh paint: friendly, themable, has plugins, and works best with a powerline font. For some reason it uses WebAssembly and WASI for plugins, which seems odd. There are some neat plugins, though. I quite like it so far.
On a completely unrelated note, my friend's Minecraft server, which had been down for a few months, is back online! I have a lighthouse for a base that I'm rather proud of, and found I'd missed more than I'd expected when I got to log in again earlier. And now I have a chance to complete the underwater rail line to spawn that I'd been working on when the server went down. It was so close to being done, too... Just gotta wait for all the glass to smelt.
