Lagrange on desktop should be able to view nex sites with its latest release. · 5 months ago
@clseibols Oh, I see! do you have a link to the protocol spec, and example clients and servers? sounds interesting tbh! have you heard of spartan? · 5 months ago
@idx2 It's a new protocol inspired by Gopher and Gemini. It's simpler than both, actually, with no input, no TLS, but it has a hierarchical structure more like Gopher than Gemini. It also doesn't have a lot of the weirdness that Gopher has with the item types and instead uses file extensions (or trailing slashes) to know if something is a directory listing or a certain filetype. · 5 months ago
what's nex? · 5 months ago
If it weren’t for the support for this protocol that appeared in Lagrange, I wouldn’t even know what it is and what is it for out of the heap of existing ones. · 5 months ago
