Nowadays it looks like you can find everything on the web, and the rest on Gemini.

@smokey Can you post a link to kennedy? · 1 year ago

@mp0 universally I really like kennedy search. The most useful resource for newbies which I wish more oldhead station users would start shouting out more to newbies is the Collaborative Directory of Gemini its probably the most comprehensive collection of interesting stuff and useful services on gemini. gemini://cdg.thegonz.net/ please check it out and let others know about it in the future as @cobradile94 word of mouth is super important here · 1 year ago

Well said! It's just peaceful here! · 1 year ago

I don’t think the search engines on Gemini are that efficient, but that’s why I love it. It’s like the old web where you rely on directories, orbits and word of mouth to find stuff. It feels like you’re genuinely exploring Geminispace. Feels like you’re just following a GPS on the Web. · 1 year ago

There's also Veronica. · 1 year ago

@mp0 I realize that I don't really search on Gemini actually. I use it more as a social platform. But if that helps, the search engine I know of is gemini://tlgs.one · 1 year ago

wow you've just melted my brain with that triple negation @comatoast haha thanks, I needed that! · 1 year ago

I literally haven't been able to not find many things on gophger/gemini that I Can't find on the web. · 1 year ago
