I guess I'm just frustrated that climate change is a literal live or death issue for everyone. But humans can't corporate and agree on solutions. Politics and economy gets in the way of us solving it.

"Humans extinction because it's too expensive and politicians want power" sounds too dumb to be true. But news and situations points into that direction.. Come on. Let's not go to that.

I wonldn't care about the topic if I can do the right thing myself and avoid the worst part of it, like how I can be frugal and most financial collasps will blow over me.

It's definitely good to build resilience. Learning to live with less, and to focus in on the things that do actually matter to you and less on the things that just drain you, is a good start. I know that building community and practicing mutual aid is another good way to build that sort of resilience (nobody is an island), but I've not been so good at that one myself so I can't give much in the way of advice there.

I've been trying to learn how to repair things as well, as I figure that'll be handy. The next few decades are gonna be rough for everyone, no doubt, but being proactive now will certainly serve you well later. · 2 weeks ago
