Last night I had kimbap for dinner. I didn't feel like cooking rice, so ramen or kimbap is a great way to get a quick meal in. Of course, I don't eat like this often.
Oh, I see. When I don't feel like making new side dishes, I make bibimbap with whatever I have in the fridge. It's great with fried eggs.
What do you guys eat when you don't feel like making dinner?
~bartender, I'll have a caffe latte here. Big mug, no sugar.
Whenever I'm alone for dinner, I generally go for either hummus or just roasted steak. If you haven't heard of hummus before, It's an Arabic dish and goes perfectly with breakfast. It's been my favorite piece of breakfast ever since I first tasted it. You should give it a try!
Kimbap is always great to eat but I find it such a pain to make (I'm so bad at rolling). So I make it "deconstructed" in my usual lazy fashion. Or sometimes, I'll just fry an egg, throw it on some rice, and slosh on the sesame oil. Yay!
If I don't really feel like cooking then a good dish is a big bowl with rice and whatever is in the fridge that is about to go out of date.
I'm the very boring ramen or macaroni cheese person lol
I'm so aware I need to make them healthier (or just find something else entirely) but man it's so easy being unhealthy - until it isn't, but at the moment it is.
Lets call it "late lunch", but: start with onions and a frying pan. Add whatever the fridge harbours as vegetables, maybe even some cheese or eggs at last. Add potatoes early if you have, or add just bread on the side, or couscous (ready in 2 minutes!). Always nice.
~bartender? I'll go for coffee as well, with cream and some sugar. Thanks.
