Hi All,

As simple author I would say that I am not interested in having compatibility between Markdown and Gemini/Text.

I have a bias cause I decided to serve my thoughts exclusively on Gemini, however there are out there plenty of scripts that already convert from Markdown to Gemini/Text and most of them are very trivial to use.

The ones who provide content on both protocols already solved this issue, they write before in Markdown and convert in Gemini/text after.

Cheers,

TGL

My thought in having a common link syntax is authors could create
content that could be delivered via gemini or html with no need to do
conversion. In fact both servers could use a common set of documents.
