I've recently been thinking about getting back on Tumblr. There just isn't a good FOSS/Fediverse alternative. The twitter-copycat interface of Mastodon, Pleroma, Misskey, Soapbox etc just doesn't cover everything like people seem to think it does. I don't know, though, maybe I just miss how internet communities were in the late 2000s. It seems most people online today are there for entirely different reasons.
