Happy fifth birthday to me! By which I mean my fifth birthday spent as a man rather than as a woman.
I normally don’t do this kind of post. Like, being an adult and posting your birthday haul on the internet feels... just, not the way I wanna do things. But something about this year was just Nice. My family only got me a few things, but they’re all special to me.

I don’t even know why this was on my wishlist? I guess I saw the author posting it on Fedi and went “oh that would be cool to have” and, well, now I have it.
I also got some other books.
Vegan candy! I’m already stuffed from cake, so I haven’t tried them yet.
Literally today I was at the bookstore looking at the tarot decks and going “I don’t need more tarot cards.” Joke’s on me, I got not-tarot cards instead!

I have had this on my wishlist for ages but never expected to actually get it, but my father-in-law decided to get it? I’m still kind of in shock tbh. I need to play some games now.
And to top it all off, my wife got me a vegan chocolate cake with banana filling and had the cake shop cover it with math problems. It’s like she knows me or something?
When she put the candles on I went “wait, that’s 35, not 37,” because I got four hours of sleep due to Poor Bedtime Decisions last night. But no, as usual she was right, even about a subject I actually usually know more about.
Except... wait.
